Success Criteria: I will begin to write my short story today. I will base my story upon the “blurb” I wrote yesterday in class. I will remember to include characters, setting, plot and resolution.

Teacher’s note: Remember that your story needs a good beginning, middle and an end. In the beginning of your story, you will need to introduce your characters and the setting of your story. In the middle of your story, you will need to introduce the problem or conflict your characters are enduring. Towards the end of your story, you will need to write a good solution to the problem of your story.

You have one week to write and post your story on your blog. Next week, our class will be reading your story and making comments on it based on what you have written.
