A cause makes something happen. An effect is the result of something – of an event or a decision or a situation. To find a cause, ask “Why did this happen?” To find an effect, ask “What’s the result of this?”

Read, The Fun They Had by Isaac Asimov found on page 205 in your Literature books. Ask yourself these cause and effect questions while you read the story then answer the making meaning questions found on page 212. Please answer each question in complete sentences. You will need to answer all questions 1-8 and post it in your blog when you are finished.
