My best gift was when I gave birth to my little darling Caiden.  It was almost two years ago that he came into my life and since then my life has changed forever. He has blond straight hair (just like his father) with big blue sparkling eyes.  He laughs with a chuckle that is contagious to anyone in his presence. 

I now have a new appreciation for life.  I now that whatever I do in my life it will directly affect him.  Caiden is my life now so I know that I have to take full responsibilty for him which means taking care of him all the time even when I am tired and hungry.  Caiden’s needs go before my needs, so when he is hungry I feed him before I get fed.  When he is upset I have to comfort him even if that means that I can’t comfort myself.  I used to watch the nightly news every night, now I watch Sprout at night.  Caiden and I have a nightly routine, when I get home I give him a bath we read together and then I put him to sleep.  He is my best gift ever because he has made me more aware of what love is and the sacrifice it takes to keep love alive.
