YOU@UT is a one day event for high school students (rising 9th – 12th grade students) interested in exploring the different engineering careers that The University of Texas at Austin has to offer.
At YOU@UT, participants will explore how engineering benefits society and impacts the world through:
- Engineering sessions (tours, presentations and activities) led by industry professionals, engineering faculty and graduate students
- Interactive introductions to a variety of engineering areas and exciting career options
- Creative engineering design and fun hands-on engineering projects
There is a non-refundable registration fee for each participant interested in attending. Lunch is included as part of the registration fee.
Fees are as follows:
- Early Registration Fee (May 1st – June 30th): $250 per participant
- Late/On-Site Registration (June 30th – July 29th): $300 per participant
An OPTIONAL Parent/Guardian Information session will be offered from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The Cockrell School of Engineering staff will be available to answer questions about admissions, housing, etc. Lunch is not included for parents/families/guests.
